casadephunk meets Kretekklang at the intersection of house and techno, bringing together a WHOLE 11hrs all-Asian line-up, and a collaborative concept that’s close-to-heart:
“SAMA SAMA” literally means “same-same” in Indonesian and Tagalog, but also refers to a greater “togetherness”, which is at the core of kretekklang’s community.
simultaneously, “sama-sama” can also be a playful way to say “you’re welcome” which ties into casa’s concept of “house as home” and bringing cuteness and creativity back to clubbing.
With each artist bringing their unique sound and flavor, this collaboration is a nod at how we all have “same-same”, but different roots: whether that means our individual ethnicities / upbringings, queerness / orientation… or our varied taste in music / artistic backstories.

both Kretekklang & casadephunk are Asian-found, Berlin-based collectives, shining the spotlight on both established DJs from our electronic music scene as well as up-and-comers – prioritizing Queer, POC & FLINTA artists and allies.
although this event is focusing on our growing POC, queer and FLINTA communities, we warmly welcome everyone to join us on the dancefloor… naturally, any form of discriminatory behavior is an absolute no-go.
