Berlin-born Sue Lèwig produces electronic music with a certain mystique, evoking the mood of 4AD bands from the 80s, employing extremely emotional pads, melodies and siren-like vocals, which she then contrasts with hard, hammering rhythms and brings into the present. Lèwig plays live at Säule tonight, accompanied by Okouru, a DJ shuttling between Paris and Copenhagen with a versatile sound that spans psy-trance, techno and progressive house, and Warsaw-based Viikatory, who has released solid electro EPs on labels such as Juicy Gang and Mana Abundance.
