Weltklang – Nacht der Poesie is the many-voiced opening of the poesiefestival berlin – this year live on the internet. Poets from all parts of the world will read, sing and perform in seven different mother tongues. They show the richness of contemporary poetry, its diversity of content, approaches and styles. Their poems revolve in part explicitly around the theme ‘state of emergency’ in the context of the Corona pandemic. German translations are provided for you to read along.
