Royal bloodlines run through every part of the world, and Ballroom is no exception. Ballroom consists of a royal Family ranging from different queer bodies, each represented in their categories. The head of this monarchy is the femme queen, the ruler, the empress of the ballroom scene. Tonight we celebrate the quee(r)ndom that we are able to be part of and pay homage to the black and Latinx trans women that created this legacy.
After the Main Ball, KOJOBESIA Party : The queer Afrobeats Experience will take place. It will be pride month so let’s dance to the modern African sounds and music of black descent (Afro beats, Amapiano, Dance hall etc.) This is Collaboration between The5elements and Freak del‘Afrique .
