HIGHER GROUND is a soul,hip hop, funk and r&b monthly concert series that aims to highlight hand-picked local artists & carefully curate musical experiences. The night usually kicks off with a cypher that highlights a producer and 3 artists from different genres, followed by a headline act who performs their original music, then, local DJ’s, to both kick-start and top-off the night with their selection. HIGHER GROUND’s main focus is to build the local infrastructure, so creatives are rewarded for their art, have a platform to showcase their craft and to create an environment that is accepting and diverse.
