»Den Weg allen Fleisches gehen« – »Go The Way of all Flesh« is an idiom, saying that we all follow the same path, ultimately leading us to the almighty death. Life is a journey accompanied by a permanent companion. We encounter death consciously and unconsciously, in life and in our dreams. It arises in many forms, evoking various colours and faces. It can be painstakingly obvious while simultaneously being hidden from our sight.
Seven artists will present their meaty works, exploring the topic of death. Sometimes blatant and in your face and sometimes the presence of death arises with more delicacy and disguise. In some places, humour is also used to tackle the beast. A raw and poetic language unifies this group of artists, working in the fields of painting, photography, printing techniques, film, sound, sculpture and performance.
