After a series of groundbreaking events in New York City, ABOV announces its expansion to Berlin with a fall season of events at Kreuzwerk.
ABOV is a FLINTA* collective led by Dominga (aka Föllakzoid) and DJ Volvox.
Reflecting their longstanding international presence in the industry they bring with their expert talent curation a mix of the most legendary heavyweight characters of the international scene with the hottest upcoming talents and essential cultural movers.
The techno-first program is here to create a space where the finest electronic music meets a unified FLINTA* crowd with an updated software creating new gender bending sounds and experiences.
ABOV is a safe space created by FLINTA* for FLINTA*, for all the beauties that have ever been harassed, discriminated against or worse just for being themselves.
FLINTA* is an umbrella term representing female, lesbian, inter*, non-binary/enby, trans*, and agender people.
DOOR POLICY: Entrance is exclusive to FLINTA* persons only, if you feel represented by this term you are welcome. Being denied entry only means “not tonight”
Hyperaktivist is a force of controlled chaos: a techno artist whose sets move with ruthless momentum, sharp instinct, and an unmistakably physical intensity.
Rooted in the rawer edges of the underground, the Mala Junta resident fuses hypnotic repetition, distorted pressure and latin rhythms into an uncompromising sound built for the peak hours.
Dominga of the cult band Föllakzoid, South American born, fashion model, filmmaker and all together globally renowned trans and countercultural icon, brings an otherworldly sense of techno metrics and encyclopedic music knowledge layering that reveals and transforms the deepest gems from the elements of our collective unconscious into concrete unforgettable core sound imprints.
Her transportive music continues after 20 years to intrigue and captivate audiences around the world with its deep pulsating aliveness.
Brazilian-american world-renowned DJ Volvox has become synonymous with surgical mixing technique and a certain square-shooting, take-no-prisoner approach towards dance floor business.
A global figure of over a decade, her impeccable music selection has made her a regular fixture of the best events on the planet.
Cvntmom holds keys to rooms that don’t exist on maps. She is the co-creator of Diskota Forte, one of Berlin’s most essential underground events and arts spaces. Iconic city cunt. Vanguardist. Post-erotic performer.
Franziska Lindholz mixes experimental dub, trippy house and deep mental techno, blended through seductive long transitions and sprinkled with leftfield bites.
Known for her immersive sets at Royal Highness, she seduces listeners with her rhythmic structures and transportive soundscapes.
WE WILL CERTAINLY BE DRIVEN INTO THE UNKNOWN with a first class ticket.
ABOV WILL NOT TOLERATE ANY KIND OF HARASSMENT OR DISCRIMINATION ON OUR DANCE FLOOR
