Studio 55 will host on September 18th and 19th, a collaborative exhibition by Veranika Khatskevich and Angelina Mass, bringing together two distinct artistic practices.
Veranika Khatskevich presents an immersive installation of one-of-a-kind ceramic sculptures, handmade and 3D-printed, accompanied by dried flowers preserved in liquid wax. Vases, organic forms, and suspended flowers create a controversial environment where beauty meets decay, exploring the fragile boundary between life and death.
Angelina Mass presents figurative paintings in mixed media. Her fragmented and transformed bodies inhabit symbolic spaces shaped by desire, vulnerability, alienation, mythology, queer culture, and personal memory.
Together, the works create a dialogue between bodies, natural forms, reality and psychological experience, preservation and transformation, the beauty and decay, life and death. These contrasts create new realities, open to interpretation, allowing the viewers to project their own experiences.
The exhibition will take place on September 18th and 19th, from 5pm till 10pm.
