I came across an article offering “Unique Ways to Meet Quality People”. Since dating apps have become a haunt for the visually unfortunate and dull over the last years I was keen to find other options to acquire a “quality” mate. Please humor me when I say that I’m not quite sure how to spot a “quality person” in the wild and the guide offers little advice on that matter. But I wasn’t going to be stopped by such a minor obstacle. I followed the instructions step by step (or as close as personally possible). Here is what happened…

With Halloween coming up in just a month, we thought we’d embrace the everyday spooky scenarios we are constantly exposed to in Berlin. Well, the time for bikinis and sunscreen is over. The colder months are coming. And there are very different ways of dealing with that fact in this city. Here are 5 types of Berliners in the Fall that you might know too well.

10 Years of iHeartBerlin – Thank You & Photos

10 Years of iHeartBerlin – Thank You & Photos

I am still quite overwhelmed with feelings of joy, especially now going through all the fun photos of our special night (if you have more photos send them to us!). 10 years is a very special number, but I’m glad that we could do this big number justice. Teaming up with the Olympus Perspective Playground was an amazing opportunity that I am so proud of and thankful for. Being surrounded by the amazing artworks of this immersive exhibition and the stunning venue of Kraftwerk was just much better than I imagined it to be. And by the amount of euphoric faces that I saw during the night I am confident to say I was not the only one.

It’s the first thing someone wants to know when finding out about a new language: before learning how to say hi, or or how to introduce yourself, you want to learn how to curse. I’m sure there is a sociological angle to it, but science aside, swearwords are just amusing. Looking into the magnificent world of German swearwords, one isn’t at all surprised with the creativity levels the country of Goethe and Schiller has. We’ve collected some of the most noteworthy examples, that will have you regret every time you’ve called someone an idiot instead of an ass violin.
