This month you can enjoy the fourth edition of the Berlin Art Week, held from September 15-20, 2015. There will be so much to see as national and international artists from all over the world will be presenting their works and performances. You’ll be able to visit art fairs, more than 20 regular exhibitions, project spaces and be part of various award ceremonies, gallery openings, performances, screenings, artist talks, guided tours and concerts. Only a few days ago the urban art fair Stroke closed its gates for this years big exhibition at Alte Münze. Of course we went there for you and took a couple of photos of the many amazing artist and gallery booths. I have to say I really enjoyed this edition. I remember after my last visit of the Stroke when it was still at Postbahnhof I left with mixed feelings about the whole set-up and not so many artworks in my head that had amazed me. But this year it was an exciting expedition with one great discovery after the other. Especially the hall of solo artists was really interesting. This Thursday the Stroke Art Fair for urban art is opening its big exhibition at Alte Münze with a full program of parties, workshops and live painting sessions. As we are big fans of urban art this is a must-go for us and we are looking forward to the works of all the graffiti, street and comic artists, illustrators, as well as graphic and motion designers from around the world that will be presented. Don’t miss the big opening party hosted by MVSCHI Kreuzberg on Wednesday night and the aftershow party on Friday night and the closing party on Saturday night. The exhibition will be open to the public until Sunday night. Get a little taste of what to expect after the jump.
