Last week Artstars* and VisitBerlin invited to a fun little Christmas party called Gin & Gingerbread at Schwarze Traube in Kreuzberg. As the name suggests there was a lot of gingerbread and gin long drinks involved that quickly cheered up the crowd. A lot of Berlin bloggers came by and everyone who r.s.v.p.ed early enough got their own branded gingerbread heart. Sweet! Enjoy the impressions after the jump.

This week we are getting a bit of a rest of all those Berlin Something Weeks as we are right between the art week and the social media week. It’s definately more calm, but I’m glad, less to chose from sometimes is a blessing. This week we have some great exhibition opening, workshops, talks and of course parties! Chicks On Speed
Oh my god, this is one of those weeks where the event guide takes me forever to finish because of the art week, Berlin Festival and Berlin Music Week taking place at the same time. That is simply an overload of events, worse than Fashion Week! Okay, let’s cut right to it. There is a massive amount of art events going on. On Saturday a new event named Curry Rotweiss launches at Backyard in Kreuzberg. The name refers to a typical German speciality you might have tried already: our beloved Currywust! In Berlin you order “rotweiss” if you want your wurst with both, ketchup and mayo. Curry Rotweiss has several surprises coming up for you on Saturday including a test of courage to win a free shot, an art installation in the yard, free Wurst for early birds and a discount for the few Berlin born aliens left.
