Lately we have dedicated a lot of time and effort writing about restaurants and cafes in our various themed guides about different styles of kitchens or districts of Berlin. And why is that? Because we love food! With all the different creative worlds from fashion, art, music and theater, it’s the one thing that we and our readers can always come back to and agree on: Berlin has some amazing food to offer.

Shooting videos of special moments, blogging about our latest adventures and taking selfies with our friends – all these disciplines of the new social media have become a normal part of our lives, just like writing a diary, sending postcards and taking analog photos used to be in the olden days. But while our old photo albums and letters to friends were only interesting to those who were close to us, our Twitter feeds and Instagram channels are now consumed by a much bigger audiences. So our pictures and words are now in competition with those of others which means we are always trying to be more creative, surprising and unusual with the impressions we share…

The new Ford Ecosport Challenge is exactly about that: Being unusual and standing out and sharing it with the world. In the last couple of weeks Alina from the band Frida Gold and VIVA host Jan have become the spokespeople for the challenge and were looking for the most creative and unusual people who were willing to share their adventures during the competition with the world. Drop a Rhyme: Sing along to Run DMC and A-trak

For their new campaign Unite All Originals mega brand adidas invited hip-hop legends Run DMC and DJ talent A-trak to create the soundtrack for a very special interactive video experience that they launched earlier this month. Today they are taking it one step further with their new Drop a Rhyme challenge that let’s you become a part of the experience. For this A-trak created a beat sample for those of you who can master the art of rapping to drop their own rhymes ontop of it and record it with Instagram. Sounds like your kind of challenge? Than go and get into the groove with the beat. Oh, make sure not to forget to tag it with #unitealloriginals, #adidasoriginals and @adidas_de before you upload it. The best rhymes will not only win some cool adidas outfits but will also be edited into one final, global music video that will be released in the end of September. To inspire you, starting Monday a few popular artists will publish their rhymes for you on a daily basis, among them Lary, MC Fitti, Weekend, Teesy and DJ Kitsune.
