After a super successful first edition in December last year, C/O Berlin and Airbnb are following up and once again inviting photography lovers for free to the Open House – hosted by Airbnb on July 1, 2022 at the current exhibitions.
With the Open House concept, Airbnb continues their efforts to contribute to the revival of the cultural scene after years of pandemic-related lockdowns and to provide Berliners and visitors with a special experience.

New year, new art! In the next couple of weeks some really awesome exhibition will be opening (and already are) so we thought it’s time for another big exhibition guide to give you some recommendations were to see great art in Berlin in the beginning of 2016. Especially now in Winter when you don’t want to spend too much time outside it’s one of our favorite things to do: Go to the galleries and museums.
We selected a really fun and interesting mix for you including all the disciplines of art ranging from painting over sculpture to our favorite: photography. We have some big international names in our list such as Helmuth Newton and Ettore Sottsass, but also some long-standing local photographers such as Andreas Fux and Florian Kolmer. In terms of exhibitions Berlin seems to be on fire right now. Recently I have been to so many exhibitions in a row that my head is still spinning from all the impressions and inspiration I got from it. I love that Berlin never seizes to amaze me with the art that is being shown here. And yes, maybe sometimes there are a lot of bad exhibitions here, but let’s focus on the good and at the moment there is quite a lot of good in town. Bikini Berlin
Today we want to take a closer look at the Bikini Berlin and the areas around it with all its little gems and treasures. Since the opening of the mall last year a lot has happened in the good old West and all of a sudden everyone was speaking of a renaissance of West Berlin. A couple of high profile hotels opened in the area, new restaurants popped up, a new luxury cinema, the C/O Gallery finally re-opened after its move away from Mitte. And these are just a few of the new developments of the City West. Next to the retrospective Post Scriptum by Christer Strömholm, C|O Berlin also recently opened another, smaller exhibition by director Ulrich Seidl. On Febuary 10th 2013 at 16h the exhibition will be accompanied by a special performance where Seidl interviews four protagonists from his film trilogy Paradise. Last Friday, C|O Berlin opened its final two exhibitions at their location on Oranienburger Straße: Post Scriptum by Christer Strömholm and Love / Faith / Hope by Ulrich Seidl. By the middle of March, the museum closes down and moves to the Amerika-Haus in Charlottenburg. There, they will re-open by the end of this year.
