Am I getting old, or why is one my favourite local berlin bands celebrating their 10th anniversary? Nevertheless it is a great reason to celebrate. Pitchtuner has shown us for years how a band cannot just be fun and inspiring to watch and to dance with but also innovative regarding their invention of instruments and crazy soundsystem. The sweet and sexy German/Japanese couple not only rocks with crazy melodies but sings directly to your heart with their Japanese lyrics. The party this Friday will be something to really look forward to with a Goose DJ set and several other cool acts apart to Pitchtuner. We will throw out some guestlist spots on our facebook page. An awesome big art exhibition open up until late? A night of concerts with amazing video projections? A quirky and fun art and photo installation and performance? And a big party on top of all that? What sounds like a whole schedule of events was actually all coming together at Berlinische Galerie last Saturday at the Kunstnacht11 with concerts by Jahcoozi and Creep as well as a performance by Crystal Mafia. Boysnoize Christmas Jam at Maria am Ostbahnhof tonight. Boysnoize Records are celebrating their 5th birthday this year and after more than 50 releases there is lots to celebrate. Alex Ridha aka Boysnoize has worked with Kelis, The Black Eyed Peas and Gonzales and is going touring with N.E.R.D at the beginning of next year. Maria gives space to a a big jam like the one tonight with Scotty, Feadz, Peaches, Boys Noize, Housemeister, Coop and many more plus a real Berlin afterhour for the ones who stayed and the ones who came back home for Christmas.
