The Fire Effect
One of my finds during the recent Berlin Press Days was a special line of products of the new Eastpak Fall/Winter 2012 collection. Backpacks have become quite fashionable again in recent seasons thanks to Scandinavian hipster brands, but I think there still is a lack of variety and styles in stores. The current backpack styles are mostly based on the military rucksack – as much as I like the look of that, it just isn’t very practical and most models don’t even fit a normal laptop. The Floid backpack from the CORE collection of Eastpak comes in handy, as it easily fits a normal sized laptop and many other things in one of their pouches. It comes in a couple of colors and patterns, my favorite one being the Fire Effect – a red and black checkered robust canvas. I think it perfectly fits with casual denim and flannel looks.
