Themed around the food system and the Planetary Health Diet, this unique gathering blended classical and electronic music, creating a sensory journey into the realms of food and sustainability.
Despite inflation hitting the gastronomy scene, Berlin continues to offer an impressive range of culinary delights from around the world and for different pockets. The city’s commitment to vegan and vegetarian cuisine is evident, although the numbers show there’s still progress to be made. With only 5% of restaurants being exclusively plant-based, and 20% offering vegetarian or vegan menus, Berlin’s food landscape reflects a growing, shift towards sustainable eating.

It’s that time of the year again when people outside look kind of crazy and you can hardly get a damn taxi in town: FASHION WEEK is coming to Berlin this weekend and it’s actually staying for over a week this time. Just in case some of you have not noticed that we moved our weekly event guides away from the blog stream to a permanent events page with a proper listing we thought it would be good to direct you over there once more. Imagine a silent and warm summer night in Berlin. You are sitting in a beautiful old place in the heart of the city, when music begins to play. The soft sound of violins sooth you before rhythmic horns seem to announce a royal entrance. Then the darkness is interrupted by rays of light that throw a black and white image of Berlin onto a silver screen. The music swells up and all of a sudden an entire orchestra is playing in perfect sync with the moving pictures of 1920s Berlins.
