When I entered the Lehrter Siebzehn location on Tuesday night for the exhibition party FIER Vitrine I was pretty impressed. Of all the events by FIER Management this was by far the best one. Ten really well selected international labels presented their new collections here with really nice set-ups and fashion presentations. Every corner was dedicated to another label and arranged to create a little world around the design work itself. Every presentation had one, two or three models showing the key pieces of each collection. I really enjoyed all of them, but my favorite one of all was for sure the menswear collection by Aussie Alexandra Hackett who created every piece of silver foile. Very cool! Our third special recommendation for you for the upcoming Berlin Fashion Week goes out to the FIER Vitrine. Our friends Nico and Lisa from FIER management have been quite busy in the past couple of years supporting the independant and alternative young designer scene. For their new event on Tuesday, July 8 they have curated an impressive line-up of young international avant-garde designers who will present their new collections in the form of fashion presentations, performances, screenings and installations at the amazing Lehrter Siebzehn location near Hauptbahnhof.

Fashion Week is not the most healthy time of the year. Running around and standing in line in the cold, massive amounts of free alcoholic drinks and no time for proper food consumption are the usual hazards fashion professionals have to encounter. So it was very nice to be invited by Fier Management to visit their showroom and to attend a fashion show combined with a delicious dinner.
The food was not just a pleasure for our starving stomach but also easy for the eye. The food stylist Julia Ward from Don’t Play With Your Food styled the 4 course menue accordingly to the presented fashion collections of the designers: Black Balloon, Julia Theobalt, Miryaki, Tesj, Vibe Johansson, Yeashin Kim and Sasha Kanevski.
