Four of the six final designs have also been used for a mini collection of leggings that have been released in the Front Row Society online shop NOW. This week’s Cinéma de Mode brings to you the new fashion film by Front Row Society for the launch of their leggings collection for summer 2013. The cheerful dance film results from the collaboration of FRS with choreographer Kiani del Valle and motion designer Antonio Pedro and showcases 3 dancers moving in harmony while presenting the different legging styles. The collection features tribal and geometric prints of the winning designs of the “Your Tribe versus your Geometry” design contest and is definitely the perfect statement piece for the upcoming summer. As it was so much fun the last time our collaboration with Berlin-based fashion label Front Row Society will go into its second round. Last September we presented a colorful collection of oversized digital print Modal scarves that I designed from kaleidoscopic alterations of my party photos and which are still available to buy here. For the second collection I once again went through my archive of party photos to find the best pictures to transform into fun designs. This time they will not only be printed on big scarves, but also on leggins!
You can vote now for your favorite designs by liking the ones you enjoy the most on the Front Row Society Facebook Page. Out of the 13 designs we will turn the 6 most liked into products. The voting ends on Monday, March 11th 2013 at noon. Among all the people who vote we will raffle off 3 of the scarves from the collaboration. Good luck!! After we revealed our Anniversary Scarf Collection with Front Row Society last week at our 5th Birthday Party in a big multimedia installation we are now happy and proud to present you the photoshoot we did with our lovely readers Marie-Louise and Christoph. The 5 winning scarf designs are now available to buy at the Front Row Society online boutique. We also added a couple of the designs that did not make the final cut in a very small limited edition of 5 pieces each. All scarves are quite large (2×1.3m) and are made of 100% Modal. On Saturday we celebrated our 5th anniversary and the release of our scarf collection with Front Row Society with a big party at Naherholung Sternchen. The evening started quite early with the screening of the Berlin Film Night – a collaboration with Mobile Kino – and then quickly changed into a wild party night with DJ sets by Kool Thing, Planningtorock, Shameless/Limitless, Oh Mehr, Lidl Bromance and surprise guest DJ Katja a.k.a. Glamcanyon. We had a great night and I was really happy so many of you came! Thanks for the support by Pampero Colectivo, as well as the Fountain of Youth and Red Bull. It was quite a clear result – the voting of your favorite designs of our kaleidoscopic scarf collection with Front Row Society has finished. I’m quite surprised by the outcome actually, the most voted design was the one with me voguing in front of a Madonna poster, haha! After the jump you can see the other 4 designs that will be produced and ship to stores worldwide very soon.
