If you’ve been around town you have probably come across it already at some point. The new campaign for Paco Rabanne’s new fragrance Invictus and its main character Nick Youngquest are everywhere. But as I have already posted previously the campaign is much more than just the posters and commercial spot. Along with the launch they started the Invictus Award, a new competition where 7 athletes from all over the world compete against each other and can win the trophy along with the funding for a sports-related project that they want to do. You can watch a reality webseries about the Invictus Award here and you can still vote for our Berlin contestant Markus to support a local sportsman. More about it after the jump.

Berlin is mostly renowned for its unique and exciting nightlife. But the options for activities during the day aren’t too bad either. Especially trips to the surrounding woods and waters are totally underrated. That’s why today I would like to introduce you to one of many things to do.
A week ago I had the pleasure to experience my very first Dragon Boat ride in Berlin – meaning, I got into one of these long boats with a dragon head and actually did some rowing myself. Naturally, any sports that feature the word ‘dragon’ in its name sound intriguing, but dragon boating is definitely a thrill by itself. Under guidance of the gorgeous Invictus Award contestant Markus I warmed up, stretched out and did a quick run at the WannSea Dragons training centre. More about my little adventure after the jump. Only a month ago I introduced you to the new exciting Invictus Award by Paco Rabanne for which 7 handsome athletes from all over the world compete against each other to win the support for their sports-related cause. And where does the fun part for us come in, you might wonder? We can watch the whole competition in a reality webseries that has finally been released now on the Invictus website. More than 50 little episodes will be published here subsequently during the next few months showing the different situations and quests the contestants have to go through, mixed up with a lot of interviews and behind the scenes footage, and maybe even some friendly topless wrestling – if we’re lucky…
The German contestant is dragonboat man Markus from Berlin. In the next couple of months we will support him in the competition and we would really love for you to support him as well and give him your vote on the Invictus website. He deserves it! Learn more about Markus and the Invictus Award webseries after the jump.

One of the major perks of running a blog such as this is the opportunity to travel to different places and meet interesting new people. I feel it’s such a privilege and I am so blessed everytime I have the chance to enjoy it. Earlier this year I took some short trips to the beautiful city of love – Paris – courtesy of French label Paco Rabanne. I was invited to experience the launch of their new menswear fragrance Invictus that will be released next month. As the campaign was pretty much a big secret I couldn’t really reveal anything about my trips other than a few Instagram shots. But now the lid has been lifted…
Read more about the elaborate campaign of Invictus by Paco Rabanne, its involvement with 7 different athletes from all over the world, how I created my own perfume and what my and Berlin’s role in this is going to be, after the jump.
