In a creative city like Berlin keeping up with the art world is a challenge most people just give up on. Where to go? There’s just so much to choose from! As we are aware of this, we wanna introduce an exhibition to you that is definitely worth a visit. Volume A will take place from the 3rd to the 5th of November in Colonia Nova, and has acclaimed contributing artists, such as Erwin Olaf and Bruce LaBruce. Cinéma de Mode: Rich Bitch by Kaltblut Magazine

Cinéma de Mode: Rich Bitch by Kaltblut Magazine

Sometimes you just wanna go wild in the Berlin U-Bahn and be all bad-ass, punk-rock, ghetto-kid style. Well, at least that’s what’s going on every Friday night in the U8… For their 3rd anniversary our friends from Kaltblut Magazine borrowed these popular Berlin antics and shot a short film in the bathroom stalls, subways and photo automats of Berlin starring Elizabeth Ehrlich, directed by Tatjana Meirelles, produced by Jack Alexandre and with fashion and styling by Berlin-based streetwear label Nico Sutor. Berlin Dress – The Inbetween Fashion Week

Berlin Dress – The Inbetween Fashion Week

Sopopular

Let’s face the facts: During Berlin Fashion Week in January and July there is just so much going on compressed in just a couple of days that it’s humanly impossible to make it to all the events that might interest you. So it’s a not a big surprise that some event organizers (including my own project Designer Scouts) have moved outside of Fashion Week to avoid these overcrowded days where everyone is just complaining how stressful everything is (first world problems…). The new fashion festival Berlin Dress would fit perfectly into the Fashion Week, but the organizers Berlin Pieces have decided to do it now in late August. I welcome that decision because in between Fashion Weeks there is so few fashion events going on in Berlin that I am happy that we have yet another. Find out more about it and win guestlist spots for the opening on Friday after the jump.

Sometimes magazines are like butterflies. They need to go through some steps of metamorphosis to achieve their full potential. I can say for sure that Kaltblut Magazine which was first called Honk  made some big steps into becoming one of my favorite online magazines. Their new issue about Avantgarde came out recently and has a lot of beautiful fashion editorials and interesting interviews to offer. Check it out. Fore more great pictures of the fashion spread Nocturnes by Brasilian photographer Fernando Mazza go after the jump.
