Artist Mischa Badasyan was at it again with one of his naked interventions. After the Viktoriapark waterfall and the subway he now took over the beautiful Körnerpark in Neukölln and filled it with naked human bodies during one of his actions. It was basically a nudist picnic in the park celebrating the liberation of the body, the human form and its connection to nature. What better place to choose than the dreamy ambiance of this special park in Neukölln.
But the new photos series captured once again by Abdulsalam Ajaj is just a glimpse of a much bigger project that includes several interventions in public places. For upcoming shoots, Mischa is always looking for more participants. So if you want to become part of the series you can get in touch with him by writing him an eMail. We are already curious about the next location and of course the big reveal of the entire project later this year!

In all of the years that I have been living in Berlin the city never ceases to surprise me with new incredible places, no matter if they are incredible buildings, stunning interiors, unusual locations or innovative concepts. My first reaction is always that I am missing the right answers because all the places are so familiar to me, after 18 years, what can truly still surprise me. But then I think back to the moments when I first discovered those incredible places, sometimes even before I had seen pictures of them, and how they made me feel. With this memory in mind I curated the following list of amazing places that will take you by surprise when you first visit them. Our readers who are more familiar with the city might know a lot of them already, but maybe we manage to have at least a couple that you don’t know yet.

“Berlin is always on the radar”.
A city’s soul lies in the people, that inhabit it. The townscape consists of the street’s faces.
But when we look closer, we ask ourselves: Who is Berlin?
Photographer Ashkan Sahihi has some answers. The capital has many faces, naturally.
Sahihi portrayed over 300 of them.
The 375 photographs of Berlin women are part of the series „A Portrait of a City: Die Berlinerin“ that were shown at multiple exhibitions in Berlin. Sahihi’s entire work of portraits is also published in a book. On 848 pages the reader gets an impression of Berlin that is far from cliché and close to reality.
