Even though it’s the final day of Berlin Fashion Week we once again would like to take a little peak over to Paris to see what’s going on at the menswear Fashion Week over there. Today one of the most important shows of a big fashion house is going to happen there and we have once again the live stream here for you right after the jump.
While the womenswear line of Louis Vuitton has undergone a massive relaunch with the switch from Marc Jacobs to Nicolas Ghesquière the menswear has stayed as it is with designer Kim Jones and his contemporary and elegant style. Let’s see what he has in store for the boys at the show which starts today (January 22nd 2015) at 14:30h.

It’s this time of the year where we take a little look over to yet another cool European metropolis: Paris where currently the menswear fashion week is taking place. It has become a little tradition that we show you the live stream of the runway presentation of Louis Vuitton here on iHeartBerlin.de, and this season is no exception.
While the previous womenswear show has brought us a new era of the label with the brand new creative director Nicolas Ghesquière after the departure of iconic designer Marc Jacobs, the menswear line has stuck to its current designer of recent years Kim Jones. Let’s have a look what he came up with for the Spring/Summer 2015 season after the jump. The show starts at 14:30h today.

One of the biggest – if not the THE biggest – highlights of the fashion world is happening today at 10:06h in the morning: The womenswear fashion show of Louis Vuitton for Autumn/Winter 2014-15 in Paris. The LV shows are not simply runway shows, they are spectacles with big impressive sets, stunning designs and the creme de la creme of celebrities in the front row. If you don’t believe me head over to Dazed Digital that have some wonderful photos of the last show that had glamorous escalators, a mary-go-round and a fountain. Of course it’s super hard to get a ticket, that’s why Louis Vuitton is also streaming the show live on their website as well as on a small selection of blogs such as ours. So if you want to be amazed by the latest Vuitton show, look no further than behind the jump for the live stream.

It’s that time of the year when all Paris is filled to the brim with the most beautiful men of the world. Why? It’s Paris Menswear Fashion Week. Hurray. Due to it’s inconvenient timing coinciding with Berlin Fashion Week it’s quite impossible for us to actually go there (shame!). But at least we have the pleasure of offering you some live coverage in the form of an exclusive live stream from one of the most importat shows: The Louis Vuitton Men’s Ready-to-wear collection designed by Kim Jones for Spring/Summer 2014. Enjoy it this afternoon at 14:30h here on I HEART BERLIN right after the jump.

Last week Louis Vuitton opened their latest Maison in the historical Residenzpost in Munich. And by Maison I don’t mean a regular old house – with this term the French brand describes their special line of flagship stores that represent their whole line of products plus a few extra features such as custom made shoes for the gents, custom made handbags for the lady and customized travel gear for both. This one is only the 5th Maison in Europe and the 20th in the whole world, so it was quite a big deal. A big deal is also the house it moved into. The Residenzpost is probably one of the most prestigeous homes they have, and as coincidence has it, the construction of the building was comissioned in the same year as good ol’ Louis started his business some 150 years ago. I suppose it might have very well been fate that these two entities are coming together in 2013.
As I already teased last week my fellow bloggers from LesMads, Josie Loves, Cherry Blossom Girl, Horstson and I traveled to Munich to join the big opening ceremony. It was – as always – a magnificent event with famouses over famouses including Hollywood icon Uma Thurman, topmodel Franziska Knuppe, and a whole league of young German actors such as Kostja Ullmann, Hannah Herzsprung, and Alexandra Neldel. At the party we were delighted with the live performance by Marina and the Diamonds and fun DJ sets by Palina and Schowi. Enjoy my impressions of the big opening of the Louis Vuitton Maison München Residenzpost after the jump.

Trunks, art and polka-dots, how do these three things relate to each other you might wonder. The name that brings it all together is Louis Vuitton. The maison traditionelle invited us over to Paris on a show&tell with LV along with fellow bloggers Katja from LesMads, Sarah from Josie Loves, Sascha & Peter from Horstson, as well as Andy from Style Scrapbook and Carolina from Fashionsqad. In only two days we got to see the historical home of Louis Vuitton, who started his business in 1854, the studio in Asnières that still produces the famous travel trunks, the pop-up store opening for their design collaboration with Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama, the big Maison store at the Champs Elysees, their gallery Espace Culturel and the Louis Vuitton Marc Jacobs exhibition. Follow our short but exciting trip after the jump.
