In the last couple of days, Berlin is finally starting to wake up again and feel like the multi-faceted and fun city that we all know and love. The sun is shining, people are outside and the Berlin vibes are slowly kicking in.
What better moment to come out with something new than now? We’re all craving some pleasure, and ice cream, and some golden sunsets. It feels like the perfect timing for what Magnum has in store for us.
Recently I was lucky to get a glimpse of some shiny things coming up at the press event by Magnum. Of course, there was a brand new ice cream flavor involved, and some amazing bedazzled roller skates. Sounds like fun? Let’s dive in…

The Magnum House of Play is the gift that keeps on giving! When you enter the place that was set-up in a former church you can discover one interactive installation after the other that invites you to play around, take photos and just enjoy the lighter things in life. From a huge golden swing in the center, over a pool of balls, a rocking horse, hula hoops, a doodle wall, and several games and fun photo backgrounds you will never run out of opportunities to feel like a kid again and just play. All of the installations have been done with so much love for details that you just don’t want to leave them at all.
The center of the House of Play is the DIY Magnum bar with a big chocolate fountain where you can customize your own Magnum with different chocolate coats and toppings. Finally, a Magnum made just for your desires.
You can visit the House of Play at the Elisabethkirche in Invalidenstraße every day until Sunday, June 23rd from 13-20h. And the best thing is: it’s totally free of charge. Of course, the place is quite kid-friendly, so bring the little ones for some good old fun.
To give you a bit of a preview here are some impressions from the opening on Wednesday that also saw some famous Berliners including Palina Rojinski, Marina Hoermannseder, Dawid Tomaszewski, Nikeata Thompson, Ricardo Simonetti, and Jack Strify.

After a hot summer day in the city, we couldn’t have imagined a better evening activity than visiting the opening party of the new Magnum Pleasure Store last Thursday at the Neues Kranzler Eck in Charlottenburg. During the Chocolate Hour that attracted top models, social media stars and ice cream lovers we had the chance to be one of the first people in Berlin to design our own unique Magnum. With the help of the “Pleasure Makers” in the store you could compile your own Magnum creation out of several tasty and decorative ingredients. The results were definitely the most stunning Magnum ice creams we’ve ever seen (and eaten).
The event was also the opening of the exhibition “Release the Beast” by famous fashion photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott who shot Kendall Jenner for this photo series. The Pleasure Store has already opened in New York, London, Paris and Amsterdam and now it was about time that we got our hands on these deluxe ice creams here in Berlin.
