The Weekly Art Guide
Thomas Kratz “Artemis” (Nude) at Croy Nielsen
The upcoming week promises artistic obstinacy: In a spectacular auction, Hamburger Bahnhof will gather money for Christof Schlingensief’s Opera Village Africa, the up-and-coming artists Thomas Kratz and Markus Saile present their newest abstract works and don’t give up on painting, Evan Gruzis familiarizes us with Pop Noir and Bjarne Melgaard thinks that Shelly Duvall’s performance in The Shining is so fucking annoying that he made a movie about it. Up from next week my holiday-replacement-time is over and you will get your full-bearded (and in the meantime half-Latino) Frank back. All that’s left to say is: Thank you all so much for your trust and for reading my posts! Of course you can still follow my art-reviews on my blog artfridge.de and once in a while here – on iHeartBerlin. See my full guide for the upcoming week after the jump…
