The Berlin Family Next Door – Depending on your Neighborhood

Night of the Singing Living Rooms – Free Concerts all around Berlin

Polly & Bob became a synonym for neighborhood activism and urban creativity in the last year. The small project is now taking Berlin by storm with another one of their wonderful events. After the Night of the singing Balconies and the Running Dinner through Friedrichshain there will be a one-day-event with free concerts inside the living rooms of Berlin on April 26, 2014.

My first thought was that most concerts would probably be from music-loving amateurs. But yet again Berlin proved me wrong showing up a lot of amazing talent performing for free at this event. Check out the whole list of performers over here. You can visit up to 4 concerts in one day at the times of 14h, 16h, 18h, and 20h. Each concert takes 30 minutes and then you have time to socialize with your neighbors and walk to the next living room. The tickets are for free but you have to reserve them in advance. The whole event will finish with a final concert of all participants at the Zwingli-Church (all the details here). After the jump there are some music recommendations from us and more photos.
