I love photo booths! Ask anyone! It’s true! In my kitchen I have a little collection of different photo booth photos with my friends from various events and or even from the regular booths on the streets. It’s a tiny bit tacky maybe, but I love it anyway because it’s a nice little memento of a certain event or time you’ve shared with a friend.
At the Eastside Gallery along the former Berlin Wall there is now a brand new big photo booth you have to check out! More about it and some impressions after the jump.

Julie Eilenberger
The Torstraße has been the hub for showrooms and pop-up stores during this fashion week. Beside the new Happy Shop and the Edged Designer Sale and Showroom the Nokia Pop-Up Fashion Café was one of the hotspots on the streets. The concept was a combination of a fashion lounge and cafe, a young designer showroom and a temporary photo studio where fashion photographer Yves Borgwardt shot the smartest looks of upcoming designers on young faces and fashionistas of Berlin for the new campaign for the Nokia C7 Smartphone.
While I was visiting the stunning showpiece collection of Julie Eilenberger was about to be shot in the studio. Julie was part of the Designer Scouts runway show about a year ago and it was great to see her new styles up-close. The UdK graduate currently interns at Christopher Kane in London and I’m really curious what she has lined-up next.
In the showroom I also shoke hands with the young designer Ivan Man who presented a very nice menswear collection. Some impressions of my visit at the fashion cafe after the jump. The Nokia Pop-Up Café will move on to Munich (January 27-29) and Düsseldorf (Febuary 3-5) next.

Last night’s Cinéma Party showed that Berlin’s fashionistas have already geared up for the upcoming Berlin Fashion Week wearing out their fanciest outfits with pride. In the next days Mitte will experience a drastic boost in style and a hord of street fashion photographers will be following the crowd. Or are the fashion hungry girls and boys actually following the street style photographers?
If you want to make sure that your best outfits are caught on camera then you should head over to the Nokia Pop-Up Fashion Café at Torstr. 114 where fashion photographer Yves Borgwardt will take your photo from January 20-22nd. The hottest looks will then become part of the national campaign for the new Nokia C7 Smartphone. More infos over at Sounds Like Me.
