On the upcoming Friday (September 21) the Berlin-based techno label Stil vor Talent is going to celebrate a party at the Watergate. The line-up features Oliver Koletzki, Niconé and Channel X. Additionally, the amazing newcomer act HVOB is going to play a live set. As always when Stil vor Talent is hosting an event at the Watergate, it is for sure going to be pretty crowded. In the past months, more and more DJs from Berlin have been starting side projects with their girlfriends and wives: Dapayk has been collaborating with his wife Eva Padberg for several years now, and Oliver Koletzki started doing pop music together with Fran. Now Sascha Funke is the next in line. He has just released the first album with his wife Julienne Dessagne. The project is called Saschienne, which of course is a combination of their names. As a DJ, producer and the founder of the label Stil vor Talent, Oliver Koletzki is one of most important figures in Berlin’s electronic music scene. Three years ago, he ventured into pop music with his album Großstadtmärchen. Now he released the successor Großstadtmärchen 2. The album features collaborations with artists like Jan Blomqvist, Axel Bosse, Jake the Rapper, Fran and Juli Holz. The result: electronic pop music as its best.

Since his breakthrough track Mückenschwarm in 2005, Oliver Koletzki is one of the most sought after techno DJs in Berlin. He is also the founder of the label Stil vor Talent, which releases artists such as Channel X, Animal Trainer and Niconé; additionally, Stil vor Talent has its own fashion branch. In 2009, Oliver Koletzki released his album Großstadtmärchen and founded the band The Koletzkis, which made him more popular among an audience beyond electronic music.
