To kick off the launch of their new triplet of fragrances titled BLUE the celebrated Japanese label Comme des Garçons put together a small exhibition in their store at Linienstraße here in Berlin. In the installation you will get to immerse into the three different perfumes Santal, Encens and Cedrat, hear from their creators about their inspiration and of course get to try them all. The exhibition is only here in Berlin for one week and only accessable by guestlist. Lucky you, we have a few exclusive guestlist spots to for you. A few days ago I posted a video of some horny couples chasing each other through the urban jungles of Berlin, London and Paris – all of them with a peculiar mark on their necks. Today the mystery was revealed with a “Breaking News” video uncovering the meaning of the mark, which is supposed to be a bite mark in the shape of the monogram of Just Cavalli. The videos are the campaign kick-off for the new female fragrance by Roberto Cavalli.
The glamorous new TV campaign for the fragrance features upcoming young model Georgia May Jagger, who is the daughter of Mick Jagger and Jerry Hall, as well as my favorite male model Marlon Teixeira, the sexy curly devil. It was shot by famous Swedish director Jonas Akerlund who is also responsible for some of the coolest music videos by Lady Gaga and Madonna. The Makers: Interview with perfume designer Geza Schoen
A few weeks ago we received an exclusive invitation to the Muenzsalon, one of the few members-only clubs in Berlin. There we had the pleasure to listen to the perfume creator Geza Schoen. The Berlin-based perfume designer talked about the different scents and ingredients of perfumes. He himself has had a quite interesting life so far. And customers like Dita von Teese, Madonna, Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss testify for his talents. We have a lot to tell about our experience at the Muenzsalon. Today we will start with another issue of our feature series The Makers by interviewing Geza about Berlin and his inspiration.
