I haven’t done the short film section in a while, but this gloomy first of Advent Sunday seems to be calling for 15 minutes of enchanting distraction. Today I chose the film Tufty by Jason & Brandon Butler. I do love puppets and this morbid toy-themed story seems perfect for the Christmas season. Also I think this movie is a great explanation that all those Prenzlauer Berg mom’s can give their children when they ask them about the origin of their beloved plush animals. Enjoy the film after the jump.
This could have easily been a feature for the Pictoplasma Character Walkt here in Berlin. The charming short film Jericho by Liam Gavin tells the heart-warming but sad story of a mourning man and his two imaginary friends who help him get through life. If you feel a bit lonely sometime in this big city then this film will surely make you smile. Enjoy after the jump.
