When the first Eis am Stil (Eskimo Limon) movie was released n 1977, it became an unexpected success, especially in Germany. Set on the beaches of Tel Aviv, it was one of the first teenage-sex-comedies, and so it became the role model for such high-quality movies as American Pie. In fact, the Eis am Stil movies became so popular that there have been no less than eight sequels altogether. Some of these actually were even German-Israeli co-productions – sex is always good to bring two cultures together, even if their relationship has not been that easy before…

However, it’s astonishing that the cheesy 70s imagery of Eis am Stil has not been used in a music video yet. Now, Robosonic, a Berlin-based DJ and producer duo, have done it: In the video for their song Worst Love we see fattie Johnny and his buddies riding their motorcycles in the streets of Tel Aviv, chasing girls on the beach and – naturally – beautiful women eating ice cream. And it is not only the music that is intriguing: the song is really amazing as well! Check it out after the jump.
