We are still in the middle of the Kunstherbst with more major art events going on. This week we have the big STROKE urban art fair, some knitting action, la grand dame Tori Amos live, la dame bizarre Planningtorock, another Blitz rival, a Weekday event, the big Kunstnacht party and much more… after the jump.
Pollyester
Three times a charm? For the third week in a row now our belated and shortened eventguide. Let’s see if I manage to come up with the regular edition next Sunday…
On Thursday TGA, the new party in town, is back for its second round, this time teamed up with Achteinhalb presenting Munich-based electro-pop band Pollyester with a concert at 22h. Before the concert there is gonna be a movie screening of Earthly Powers and after of course an after party. On Friday the fashion school AMD is celebrating the launch of Werk VI, the magazine of this year’s graduates class, at Bikini Berlin Showroom at 18h.
On Saturday the Kunsthaus Landsberger Allee 54 is having an open house with open studios, fleamarket, shops and music in the courtyard starting at 15h. I remember some really awesome exhibitions in this old brewery so I think it’s worth checking it out. The flyers after the jump.
Is Maybe
This week is brimming with great events, starting from reality games, over arousing contemporary dance pieces, to artistic fashion shows and blitz revivals and finishing off in a unique designer market. Look for yourself after the jump.

I realise it’s getting harder and harder to find suitable titles for our weekly event guides. There is not really always one theme for each week. So I might just call the whole thing “weekly event guide” and be done with it, haha… So, what do we have on this weeks agenda? We have the Strickenbar, a new beer garden by Picknick, an exhibition by artist Dean Rosenzweig, an experimental evening about food, a book release party and a new type of convention. Read more about it after the jump.
Daft Punk are back. They made the Soundtrack of the new Sci Fi Blockbuster TRON LEGACY which will be available in November (the movie will be released in January) But if you can’t wait you can get a preview at the TRON DAY this Thursday. Details on that and more events for the week after the jump.
It starts on Wednesday, continues on Thursday, Friday as well and reaches the climax on Saturday! There are quite a few things going on this week, dancing, drinking and the kind, you know. I know you’d be lost without us and eventually go crazy, therefore iheart is happy to tell you where you got to/ought to/ might go after the jump:
