Last week we had the pleasure to be part of a very unique and very pink dinner event that was hosted by the lovely ladies of This Is Jane Wayne in collaboration with Gordon’s Pink Gin at the charming Rose Garden in Mitte. What was a wonderland of pink delicacies and elixirs for us can be the same for you on the 12th of September when The Pink Dinner will happen for the second time – and this time open to the public. Last week we had the pleasure to finish the celebration of our 7th anniversary with the dinner series Seven Suppers together with Berlin-based start-up Qozy. It has been my plan to do another dinner event that gives us a chance to meet some of our readers since our last one for our 3rd anniversary and I’m glad we finally did it again because it was absolutely charming. I think we have the cutest readers of all Berlin blogs! I wanna thank you all for coming, also our fellow bloggers from Paperboats, Berlin Loves You, Artconnect Berlin, as well as Kaltblut Magazine who followed our invitation.
All of our dinners were prepared by Matthew Maue, one of the chefs from Qozy. He was absolutely excellent and I already miss having him in my kitchen on a daily basis. It was a lovely experience working with the team of Qozy and I warmly recommend to you to try out their amazing service and book one of their delicious menues for you and your friends in your home. On their website you can choose from different options starting at 32 EUR per person for a 3-course menu. One of their professional chefs will come to your home, bring all the ingredients and prepare everything fresh in your kitchen, serve the meals for you and your friends and clean up the place afterwards. It couldn’t be more practical!
After the jump you can get some impressions from the last two of our Seven Suppers. Enjoy and we hope it will wet your appetite!

Still right in the middle of our 7 years anniversary specials we have already covered the genres of theater, art, books, film and party with our first 5 of 7 surprises and now it’s time for the next one: We love good food and checking out the latest restaurants, food markets and supper clubs. So it comes as no surprise that we wanted to include this passion in our 7 anniversary specials.
Today we would like to invite you to our I HEART BERLIN headquaters to enjoy with us our special Seven Suppers that we will be hosting with our partner Qozy. From September 28th til October 7th we will be preparing 7 different food events for you, 6 of them are dinners and one of them is a brunch. Together with Qozy we curated 7 original 3-course menues that range from different types of meat, fish, seafood, vegetarian to vegan.
We look forward to get to know some of our readers through this on a more personal level and think this is going to be a great way to get a look into our world aside from fashion shows, parties and exhibition openings. We love to hear your stories and what better way to exchange them than over a nice meal.
After the jump you will get a preview of some of the menues we will be offering and learn more about the dates and how to book a table.

From time to time we have the wonderful opportunity to enjoy an extraordinary dinner experience such as a secret supper club. We love these kind of dinners were random strangers meet at a house of another stranger and get surprised by all kinds of delicacies. These types of dinners take a special place in our memory not only for the food but also for the interesting encounters with the other supper club guests. Berlin has so many wonderful supper clubs to offer and some of them we reviewed over here. One supper club we would like to recommend today is called Le Articioche and is organised by two Italian girls living in Neukölln. Their special recipe: for every dinner they serve they invite a special artist to give a creative contribution. For the one we went too, we had the chance to enjoy contemporary dance in between the courses of tasty Italian dishes.
This Wednesday they will have another supper club with the topic abstraction. A performance by Sub Human Bros will create the right atmosphere to guide you into the abstraction era! Don’t miss this intense experience and reserve your seat since the capacity is limited. By staying in touch with their facebook page you will know when their next dinner will take place. After the jump you will find some photos from the last supper club we attended to.

Juli Holz
This Saturday a new party is born: TGA. But this is not only a party, it’s way more then that. It takes place at the amazing Bethanien at Mariannenplatz, a former assylum that has been used as a space for art and projects now for many years.
The evening starts with a BBQ dinner accompanied by a piano concert. After that there will be a fashion performance that leads over into a party with Juli Holz live and DJs Justus Köhnke and many more. As this event is made by one of the makers of La Mansarde you can expect something excellent. More details after the jump.

Metti una sena a cera is the name of a supper club that Suz and I have been checking out the other week. The Italian proverb roughly translates to “Let’s come together and have a dinner”. And that’s exactly what we did. The hosts were an absolutely adorable Italien artist couple from Vennice who run their supper club twice a month in their beautiful spacious studio in Prenzlauer Berg.
The evening was perfect from beginning to end and I couldn’t even tell you what was more lovely, the food, the hosts or the other guests? My impressions after the jump. You can read Suz impressions of the evening in the German version of this article.

Last Sunday me and Katja were so lucky as to get a table at the pop-up restaurant Pale Blue Door from London that has opened up in Berlin for only 12 nights. We were seated in the midth of a little quirky village of shacks and huts that were build into a garden right in the middle of the city. The charismatic Amanda Pet who is as mad as a box of hair entertained us through the evening with her hilarious dance numbers and flirtatious chats at the tables. The experiences was studded with so many cute little details, it was quite magical really. You should try to get a table in the coming 2 weeks. More impressions after the jump or in greater detail over at Travelettes.
UPDATE: It has been extended until September 12th!

This up there is the most delicious mashed potatoes I have eaten in my entire life. No kidding. The juicy meat dish in the background is also quite delicious. I enjoyed these tasty little dishes and more at Fortuna’s Feast in Neukölln the other week. It’s a private dinner salon that you can rent for your private dinner party (including the cook). It’s run by caterer Suzy Fracassa who has her own catering business Fortuna’s Table. If you are interested in her cooking talents you can go to one of her tasting events (regularely on Friday evenings, reservation only) where she presents her dishes and tries out new recipes. It’s a bit like a supper club actually.
This Easter Sunday she is having a big Easter Brunch with many of her special recipes. There’s going to be a serving at 10:30 for the early birds and at 14h for the party goers. I would love to go but I guess I’ll have to settle with the less exciting menu of my parents. Details after the jump.
