Next week is Fashion Week here in Berlin, hurrah! For us it’s definately one of the most exciting times of the year, especially since we are doing five events of our own this time. But as you know most of the events during Berlin Fashion Week are not even public but only for fashion professionals (and those who manage to sneak themselves in). But there still are quite a lot of events and parties that everyone can go to and we want to give you a little guide of the best ones. On top of that you can win a few copies of the brand new fashion book Berlin Catwalks.

Design a Runway Shoe

Shoes. Shoes. Shoes. OMG, shoes! That’s what Kelly would say now. But this is not about trash, it’s about serious fashion. The Berlin-based design network The Offer (Von Bardonitz, Tata Christiane, Moga E Mago and many more) is calling for creatives to design runway shoes for their next fashion show at the Fashionclash in Maastricht. Think of it as a sophisticated DIY project for shoe fanatics. The best shoe designs will be used for the runway show. The winning designers will even get special prices. The Mardi Gras Week

This week is all in the name of the carnival, but in our case it’s the Mardi Gras that we will experiencing for the first time on Tuesday. For the rest of the week we have a bit of a crazy Wednesday with the Artstars and It Boys, a very art-filled Friday and fashion-related Saturday. The events after the jump.
