The 16th Fusion finally ended last week. Even though the festival has grown quite big (too big?) during the last years, it still has its original spirit: a spirit of freedom and independence.
After several days at the Fusion, some people might find it hard to actually remember the artists they have seen and the music they have danced to. In fact, one of the most beautiful things about the festival is that music is not the most important thing. It is being with your friends, getting lost, meeting new people and suddenly discovering artists that you have never heard of before. Anyhow, as in every year, the Fusion actually features some terrific music. In my opinion, this year’s hightlights were (besides the chamber orchestra at the Bachstelzen floor) Magda’s closing set on Sunday and Super Flu’s performance at the Turmbühne. More after the jump.
