All Eyes on Charlie May

All Eyes on Charlie May

From London with love. British womenswear designer Charlie May is descending on the fashionable city of Berlin for her new collection launch this week. If you haven’t heard the name Charlie May yet, I guarantee you will soon – and then you won’t forget it. IT-girl, award-winning blogger, and fashion graduate of the University of the West of England, Charlie May creates incredible designs that blur the lines between day and evening wear, through striking cross-styles, impeccable finishes and a unique mix of high-end fabrics and intrinsic cuts. A Fusion of Berlin and Rio

A Fusion of Berlin and Rio

Last week Thursday Heineken celebrated the launch of their new city edition with a Berlin and Rio-themed fusion event at Voo Store. They invited a group of young and upcoming designers from Berlin and Rio to show their work and how much the styles of both cities connect with each other. To complement the fashion they also offered typical Brazilian fingerfood and their delicious Hoptails.

Of course this new event series also calls for a little raffle! Under every crown cap of this new edition there is a code that you can validate on the Open Your City website and instantly win amazing prices such as trips to Rio, New York, a bike, an instant camera, watches, headphones and other cool goodies. The new Heineken bottle edition is now available in stores! Good luck! After the jump some more infos on the designers and some impressions of the event.

Toilet Paper Magazine & MSGM mixing Art and Fashion

Toilet Paper Magazine & MSGM mixing Art and Fashion

The Italian Toilet Paper Magazine is probably one of the most iconic publications in terms of artistic graphic design and photography. No wonder we featured it here on the blog before. With their quirky and weird collages they strike a very special sense of humor that is quite unique in the world of magazines. Earlier this year they revealed a special collaboration with Italian fashion brand MSGM that has us even more excited. They picked some of their most famous artworks and put them on sweaters and T-shirts. The limited edition capsule collection is really quite something and only very few shops have it. Luckily the Voo Store in Berlin is one of them. They are available in their shop at Oranienstr. 24 in Kreuzberg now and in their webshop. Have a look at the amazing pieces after the jump.
