Jägermeister Wirtshaus Tour goes Open Air

The Jägermeister Wirtshaus Tour is now already in its fourth year of transforming dusty old pubs into vibrant nightlife hubs with a traditional rustic charme presenting famous and upcoming music acts on stage and behind the DJ decks. For this season’s festival tour they are coming out of the Wirtshaus and into the sun with a series of open air parties in the cities of Hamburg, Berlin and Munich. For their Berlin gig on Sunday June 9th they will take over the Arena including the Badeschiff and breathe some Wirtshaus spirit into this place. Music will be supplied by amazing acts such as Tiefschwarz, Sascha Braemer, Format:B, Adana Twins, Magit Cacoon, Shir Khan and some more. On Friday night the Jägi dears took over the Edelweiß at Görlitzer Park and transformed it into a cosy rustic Wirtshaus with original German pub charm. The place was packed and the line outside was massive, this thing was really going through the roof – literally. The awesome concert of Fuck Art, Let’s Dance took place upstairs and you could see the ceiling bend and chandelier shake from underneath, crazy! Jägermeister Wirtshaus Tour returns to Berlin

This week the acclaimed Jägermeister Wirsthaus Tour is coming to Berlin for its final round this year. This Friday the beloved party deer will bring you some hefty indie electro action to the Edelweiß at Görlitzerpark. Hamburg-based indie electro pop band Fuck Art Let’s Dance have already opened for big players like WhoMadeWho, Ratata and We Have Band and are now about to release their hotly anticipated debut album. At the Jägermeister Wirtshaus Tour they will give you a taste of their neon world. Join the Jägermeister Wirtshaustour 2012!

Last year the Jägermeister Wirtshaustour rocked several cities in Germany with great acts such as Peaches, Who Made Who, We have Band, Totally Enormous Extint Dinosaurs and many more. This month the deer Jägis are back with a new tour. The first set of events will kick off next week on March 29 in Hamburg, going on to Berlin on March 30 and Dresden on March 31, 2012. For this tour they have put together a dubstep-electro line-up including Tek-One, Eskimo Callboy and Dumme Jungs. The Berlin electro party crowd will for sure enjoy this line-up!

What makes the Jägermeister Wirtshaustour so special is not only the choice of music acts but also the unique atmosphere that is created with love in the old pubs and clubs the concerts are taking place in. Experience the original “Wirtshaus” feeling with traditional pub decor, pool, darts and ping-pong. And not to forget, there’s gonna be a lot of Jägi! Jägermeister Wirtshaustour in Leipzig

After kicking off in Berlin back in Febuary and touring through seven other cities during the past months the Jägermeister Wirtshaustour is finally reaching the proximity of Berlin again with their next gig in Leipzig on October 6, which is practically around the corner. The “Kneipe” of choice this time is the Wirtshaus am Monarchenhügel. Apart from some traditional pub games of darts, pool and table soccer you will also be entertained by live performances of DJ-zombie Kavinsky and Swedish electro-sextette Slagsmålsklubben.
