The Earthly Delights Mini Ball by Ambrosia & LaQuefa

Last month was already such a blessing with all the ballroom events around Pride, this month the action continued with an extra special ball happening during the Long Night of Museums in the beautiful hall of the Museum for Communications. Embedded into a very diverse and very queer-friendly program that also included a performance show by Fifi Fantome and her crew the Earthly Delights Mini Ball hosted by Ambrosia and LaQuefa 007 went down. It was all very mini, very demure, very mindful toward the holy halls and floors of the museum.

It’s awesome to see how ballroom is being invited into all these amazing spaces – museums, theaters, etc. It goes to show that all the hard work that has been done by the community makers of the scene really created a more inclusive and embracing world here for the ballroom community. Let’s not forget that ballroom was created back in the day by very very marginalized and suppressed people – mainly black and latinx trans women and queer BiPOC – that were not welcome in most establishments.

But before I delve deeper into that topic I wanna share with you the photos I took at the ball.

If you hit the runway you will most likely find yourself in the gallery below. If you wanna dowload the photo you will find all the below and many more at this link. Make sure to credit @iHeartBerlin if you post them. Enjoy!
