MTV?! That music channel that once had a music program?

Since weeks it seems to be the biggest issue amongst the new creatives, models, photographers, writers and partypeople in this town: how can I manage to get a ticket to the European Music Awards? (Taking place tonight in Berlin, by the way). Tears, begging, despair and naughty offers, I have seen a lot, but finally only a few got one of these tickets! What is all the fuzz about, I was thinking. Cause when I was asked for the first time if I had a ticket for the MTV thing, I had to think hard about where I know the name from. Then it occured to me, that MTV is that music channel that used to be very popular during the nineties! Oh, it still exists, you might ask. It does! Apparently this seems to be one of those 90ies revival award shows. Is anyone still interested in a channel originally devoted to music that now only runs boring reality shows?

Thursday
Home, every first Thursday of the month @ Wmf’s small room, this week with music from the heart by Alex Barck (Jazzanova) and Dirk Rumpf (Offtrack).
Friday

Another Blind Date Swingers Club this Friday. Ooops there is a missunderstanding, no need to visit a raunchy shop to buy leather undies for this event. As well coming naked is not the best option. Those who didn’t get it so far: this is no Sex Party-it is a mix cd exchange party! Frankly, it is often misinterpreted as a shoot for hobby models and other show offs..but that’s what it is about! Meanwhile the 4th Swingers Club comes up with a different location. Time for a proper razzia in Budapest!
Tonight: Royal Flush, the debut of a brand new family affair with hard deep house and sexual performance of the Prince, POSH!The Prince between the hours of 2 and 3. The location is Edelweiss, Görlitzer str. 1 - 3, Haus 2.
Saturday
Moonlight Express with a frenchkiss marathon @ Stella, the new place. “Small, intimate, berlinstyle, for those who know…”. Yes, but where? Holtzmarktstr. 15-17, just behind the Bvg-building/Hangar 49. With Iljuscha, Fratelli Riviera, Cashmere and Cheers Chris.
Time for another Hip Hop Don’t Stop party who might want to check out, cause the line up seems promising: Michi Beck (Fanta 4/Turntablerocker), Oskar Melzer and MTV siren Palina (who used to win prices at rhythmic gymnastics… yeah guys, I know… calm down, please!).
Sunday
Your batteries are still loaded and getting up on Monday isn’t an issue? Visit Sundae @ Dice with Hunee, Fratelli Riviera and Franz Underwear! It starts at 8pm.
Tuesday
I don’t like the gap between Sunday and Thursday and feel like having some fun again already on Tuesday. If you feel the same, go to Barbie Deinhoff’s in Kreuzberg with a dj set by handsome Scout Wölfli (PnP) where you get a free drink when buying one! And don’t forget to get one for Scout, too!

Well, for Saturday, there are always the bigger places such as Berghain, Villa ..I just like to promote new extraordinary events. Iam trying..

Also Ritter Butzke is opening again today in the Ritterstr, might be worth a mention.

HHDS is not new, thanks for telling. I didn’t say, promote “only ” new events. I mention what (I think) is worth mentioning, but I always appreciate your suggestions and ideas!
