Ben, Uschi and the Pope
What do Ben and Uschi have to do with the Pope you might ask yourself. Well, I have no fucking clue. But the three of theme came up with one hell of a cosy little cafe in Prenzlauer Berg. Hidden away in the lovely Winskiez (if you do not have a spouse and a child you might not be familiar with this area) Ben-Uschi und der Pabst offers plenty of comfortable couches and a giant tasty breakfast that not even I could finish (If you order the one for 2 it’s actually good enough for 4 people). Ein “Pabst” ist ein Kotzbecken und hat nichts mit dem Oberhaupt der katholischen Kirche (”Papst”) zu tun. Insofern solltest du mal die Übersetzung “Pope” ändern.

@anna. oh, das ist ja mal ein false friend. das macht die namenswahl umso interessanter. also wir mussten jedenfalls nicht zum speibecken rennen nach unserem frühstück. danke für den hinweis.
