Azari & III
Do you have this certain appetite it needs to survive in this city? Will you leave your heart here the day you return to the city or village you came from? Are you able to forget look, people and status and just dance? If yes, join the parties recommended as usual after the jump:
Matthew Herbert’s One Pig at Berghain. The shit, let’s name it. Matthew has filmes a poor little pig from the day of its bith until it was killed at the young age of 24 weeks. He is playing music on instruments all made of a pig ( the pig? ), skin, bones, whatever, someone even prepares pig live. Live cooking on stage and weirdo music by Matthew. It’s an, erm, let’s say concert, it therefore starts at 8 pm!!
Mitte Helau at Rockets and Ponies Night out. Timo Maas, the fat, big I mean big dj from somewhere down West Germany is playing at Cookies. HipHop Don’t Stop – Gabriel too, but in the small room. Remember to tip the wardrobe girls and boys!
Renaissance Man Album Release Party at Prince Charles, U Moritzplatz, the finns of Renaissance Man, having remixed WhoMadeWho, Delphic, Crystal Fighters, Brodinski, Crookers, Health, and, most recently, Azari & III. Oskar Melzer, usually playing at touristy Weekend, playing as well!
Azari & III ( and third ) play at Gretchen. They Toronto people served us hits like the Hungry for the Power remix, something people seem not to get enough of!
Sunday Wisdom exhibition ( starts at 20.h ) by David Johannson at Stattbad Wedding: he is not showing anything. Instead, all we get to see is places of silence, decay and spots of failure. Captured are the entrances of 50 clubs from the outside in Sunday’s cruel light, or whatever day it was. We just know that this was “the day after”. Join the grand afterparty with an extract of the line-up: Ewan Pearson, Deepchild *live ( Trapez ), Re.You ( Souvenir, Keinemusik ), Jens Bond ( Highgrade ), Till von Sein and Full Nelson of Greco Roman. Man!
The Sparkle Army is back at Monster Ronson’s with sparkling Italo porn, your sparkle outfit and a sparkles on the dancefloor. If you prefer to drown in the masses, don’t join this party cause it is all about to sparkle!
Gold Rush presented by Slim Mag and Sweat Lodge at Ktv with Ed Davenport, Elie Eidelman and Magit Cacoon!
