The Berlinale begins in only two days! The largest in Germany and one of the most important film festivals worldwide will screen more than 400 films from 70 countries. To strut across the red carpet and present their films thousands of professionals from the film industry will come to Berlin in the next days.
How fantastic would it be if you could dip into this endless pool of knowledge about filmmaking, speak to the stars and let them share their experience? That is precisely what will happen at the Berlinale Talent Campus panels. Successful directors, actors and other professionals of the film business will share their knowledge with you. Screening Shorts – Selected Competition Films From Berlinale Shorts and Generation
On Wednesday (13.2) 5 filmmakers present their short films, which have all been selected for this year’s Berlinale Shorts. At 2pm the films will be shown at HAU1 and can be discussed with the filmmakers after.
Inside Out: Writing Emotions for the Screen
On Thursday (14.2) 3 fantastic directors and screenwriters get together to discuss and share how one can write a great screenplay. Bence Fliegauf (2012 Silver Bear for Csak a szél), David Gordon Green (his Price Avalanche is competing in the Berlinale Competition this year) und Oliver Hermanus (won the Queer Palm in Cannes for Beauty in 2011) will share their experience and expertise.
