After numerous successful EP releases, various remixes for the likes of Austra, Trust and Light Asylum and awesome concerts and DJ gigs (such as the one at our 5th anniversary party last year) Berlin-based band kool thing is not really new to the music scene of Berlin. What is new though is their debut album that came out yesterday. It includes not only their great singles Light Games, The Signs and TV Tower but also an array of beautiful new songs and instrumental pieces. Their unique music style can be described as a blend of atmospheric guitar riffs and electronic sounds topped with mesmerizing choiresque vocals.
