In this week’s Cinéma de Mode we have Berlin based designer Mads Dinesen with the fashion film Moondogs for his Fall/Winter 2013/14 collection. Inspired by the American blind composer and poet Moondog, widely known for his avant-garde outfits, the film showcases a menswear collection filled with ritualistic and occult references, yet very modern and much more approachable than his previous ones. The film reflects the essence of the collection not only as a critical comment on society, but also as a spiritual quest to find truth, which aims at translating our inner stories and images into unconventional clothes.
