In our today’s Cinéma de Mode we have the latest masterpiece by director Mudhar Al Khufash for Berlin-based designer Marina Hoermanseder‘s diploma collection Spring/Summer 2014. The collection Ilpox was shown at the Graduate Fashion Week in London earlier this year and it’s the result of the young designer’s hard work at the Esmod fashion school in Berlin, later perfected at Alexander McQueen. Hoermanseder’s first collection draws a fine line between fetish, high fashion, and playfulness, taking inspirations from orthopaedic practices to correct body deformities and serious skin conditions. The fashion film reflects perfectly the designer’s fashion statement, highlighting the high level of quality and handcraft of the pieces, clearly visible in the twisted buckles, leather straps, headpieces and armcuffs.
