iHeartBerlin’s Relaunch Celebration & Book Release

Last Wednesday, we had a grand old time with you over at Hallesches Haus! With a generous supply of ice-cold beer sponsored by Pilsner Urquell, we’ve celebrated both the new look of our website and the launch of our very first sassy little book. It was an unforgettable night for so many reasons – even nature acknowledged it by sprinkling this winter’s first snow down on us. But don’t despair in case you couldn’t make it – now you can check out our impressions from the party!

The relaunch of our website has been a long time coming! Our new racy logo debuted already last September at iHeartBerlin’s 10th birthday, and now we bring you the whole package: our new colorful website. We’ve never looked better and can’t wait to get one year closer to approaching the brand new roaring 20s.

Another reason we’ve gathered at Hallesches Haus last week was to introduce you to the latest installment of our IHB/IRL, which stands for iHeartBerlin In Real Life products! This time, we published a tiny language book – a tongue in cheek introduction to the most necessary German words in the four vital areas of insults, slang, expressions relating to happiness, and obviously, words connected with sex. Each entry is illustrated by our talented in-house designer Berk Karaoglu.

The witty listicles are preceded by an introduction written by the sassiest Berlin observer  – Daniel Ryan Spaulding! His appearance at our party obviously turned into a ”whole thing”, with people almost falling of their chairs in uncontrolled fits of laughter (or maybe that was because of the beer, who am I to tell?).

Either way, you still have the chance to catch up on Daniel’s unique approach to learning German and our hilarious listicle that will definitely give you the much needed edge for all your holiday small talk. We also still have a few of our iHeartBerlin Sticker Sheets left – just head over to Hallesches Haus and get yourself this festive combo of goodies coming straight from our Berlin hearts to yours.
