The Story of a Shoe: Addiction – Part 2

Last week I teased you about a story about a shoe that I’m going to tell you. And while the video I started with could be considered the teaser trailer of it, this new part of the story is somehow like a prolog.

I guess I could also just start by showing you that special shoe that this is all about. But that would not explain why I’m making such a big deal about it. You should know, Shoes and I, we go way back. In fact, shoes are probably the one element of human’s wardrobe that I am the most passionate about. I have no idea why, but when it comes to shoes I can’t contain myself. But of course not just any ordinary shoe. My specialty are very unique and extravagant shoes. You know how it is a bit more complicated for guys to dress in an interesting way as the variety of outstanding clothes in shops is just not the same as for girls. And even if I’m lucky to come by some really fancy amazing stuff for guys, very often the pieces I like the most simply don’t suit me well.

But for some reason one thing always works on me: crazy shoes. And boy do I go crazy on those! To give you an idea what I’m talking about you should head over the jump and check out my animated GIF Shoe Parade.

These are just a few of my favorite shoes, none of them are the one special shoe this story is all about. The number grows every month and I soon will need an extra room to store them. Yes, I guess you could call me a shoe addict. How silly that sounds, like I’m some kind of sneaker freak or Sex and the City girl, haha. Well, I prefer to be called a collector of unique designs.

Having that in mind, it comes as no surprised that I was quite intrigued when I received an eMail from a young design studio in Spain called muro.exe asking me if I was interested to be involved in the developement and launch of their new hybrid sneaker. Well, hell-to-the-fuckin’-o, yes I am. To be continued…
