This Friday you can look forward to a very special party in one of our favorite clubs: The Swedish brand ABSOLUT will mix up the Berlin nightlife with Born To Mix on September 8 – literally. Because here not only extraordinary drinks are mixed, but also different creative ideas, scenes, and people are brought together in one place to create very special moments that you will not forget so quickly. If you’ve ever been to an ABSOLUT event, you’ll know that I’m not exaggerating.
For Born To Mix, ABSOLUT has teamed up with various local nightlife movers and shakers, including DJs Flemish Fetish from BRENN, the great Anja Schneider, as well as MOOGLI and Kotelett, just to name a few. There will also be live concerts by the wonderful AYA, Marvin Jam, and Laura Elle, as well as voguing performances by Black Pearl and Litchi from House of Saint Laurent, acrobatics and contortion by Jade Lee and burlesque by Lindsey Dunn.
If you want to take away some sparkling memories that evening, you can also get Tooth Gems and Nail Art done. But we don’t want to reveal any more at this point because you should also let yourself be surprised a little.
With the Born To Mix party at Æden, ABSOLUT continues its tradition of connecting with Berlin’s creative scene, supporting independent artists and the queer community, and setting new standards for exceptional events. This includes not only ABSOLUT’s own events but also those that ABSOLUT supports, for example, those of the Berlin fashion project PLATTE.
Apart from the great line-up and sophisticated drinks, we have another reason of our own why we are especially looking forward to September 8. For us, the Born To Mix party is also a (not so) small milestone, as it marks the anniversary of the now 15-year collaboration between ABSOLUT and iHeartBerlin. For us as an independent queer publication, this is very meaningful and we are looking forward to adding more years.
