In the cracks of hegemony people are in fact finding each other; recovering subjugated knowledge, rethinking time, reappropriating space, hacking technologies, pushing back against discipline and control. Our identities are complex bundles of characteristics that undergo continuous mutations. The memory of who we are is built upon a process of forgetting, selection, and narrative – not on the total recall of a fixed profile. Identities can be managed, multiplied, altered, re-created, upgraded and trance-formed. What makes the difference is what is actually commonly shared by exploring the unknown together and expecting the unexpected, in yourself and others.
Experiment. Make mistakes. Learn without instruction or coercion. Practice silence, nuance, listening, exploration, and the subtleties of tone and body language… Dance beyond dawn and dusk, beyond night and day… Beyond identity and social norms and all binaries…
The party is out there, out there!
