It’s finally back! This Friday @outoftheopera returns at 7pm @zosse.bar, with a special edition celebrating »25 years of the orchestra academy«! Their wonderful first concert master Jiyoon Lee plays together with the current and former academy members Sofia Ugusheva, Alejandro Viana, Akesli Porkkala, and Philipp Schell.
And on Sunday 21st May the official jubilee concert of the Orchestra Academy takes place under that baton of @dbarenboim at the opera.
It’s been a while, so for those of you, who don’t know Out of the opera: It’s their pop up concert series (around 20 mins) taking place in their favourite bars across Berlin, with members of Staatskapelle Berlin. No entry fee, no guest list – just turn up! Also during these concerts they want you to take your phone out – tag @staatsoperberlin in your posts and stories for a chance to win tickets to the opera! Out of the opera returns regularly next season, every 6-8 weeks and announcements take place here on social media – so stay tuned!
