Olympia Bukkakis & the Darvish will present a variety of work from the most talented people of Berlin’s trans and queer refugee community along with other wonderful drag artists creating an online version of what normally would be on their home and stage at SO36.
Queens Against Borders is a performance party to support & aid trans and queer artists and this time is no different! 100% of your generous donations will go to provide free refugee inclusive SELF DEFENCE CLASSES to our resident artists and friends. This action is currently a necessity with the rise of trans- and homophobic assaults in Berlin. We want to empower members of our community to defend them/ourselves against attack. If we can’t yet change the system we should at least be able to defend our queer visibility and lives so we kindly ask for a donation of what you would normally pay as a door fee to our events. Your donation will make a direct contribution to the safety of members of our community.
